Electrified !

Music is a primal way of communication. It is a conversation everyone can get involved in, it’s a language everyone understands. It isn’t complicated, it doesn’t come with instructions or a manual. You can’t force your way into it…

It makes you forget time and it bypass your mind. It creates a show where your inner world comes alive, where you let your feelings speak and let them take the lead. It fulfills the need to express yourself and connect to a part of you that your mind doesn’t comprehend.

Once the rhythm has got you going, your body becomes an extension of inner arousel ! You are in a trance !

Music can be hot and cold combined, some songs send shivers down your spine. They instigate that fire within, like eels they move in this fluid of emotions, electrifying your natural habitat ! Aren’t some satisfying in a cold shower, others dangerous at meltdowns ?

Some create an energy that is alluring, vibes that are seductive. You surf these waves of sensuality to instigate others, you somehow hope it has the desired effect on them or that at least your message is answered and doesn’t get rejected and returned !

Seasoned with your preferred flavor, some homemade imagination, you hope it will lead you to the ultimate sensation !

Music is a magical potion for the masses, a healing recipe for the individual, we heal in coming together, we heal through celebrating our aliveness ! It is a forgotten power that can overwrite any trauma and create a different story.

Some melodies touch your heart and cause a groove in there, some strike a chord and leave you in awe. They catapult you in another dimension – timeless and immortal – the moment they take your breath away…

You were so fucking twisted, out off this world ! My kind of tease…You were my favorite companion during long rides, always putting things in higher gear ! Without any shame : my son carries your name…I am forever holding you in a giant cosmic hug Keith Flint…Rest in peace ! Thank you for setting my world on fire and electrifying me !

What a Sikh wedding !

We were witness of an extraordinary event that took place on friday and saturday : the wedding of our neighbour’s son, Mr Singh.

We’ve always had a special relationship with our neighbours, I consider my son half adopted by them, not only measured by the time he has spent at their house, but equally because of the attention and affection he has been subject to his whole childhood.

My source of inspiration, Sri Haidakhan Babaji said we can only make progress in life by doing karma yoga, hard work in dedication to the Lord, that means service to humanity, service to you and me ! Not forgetting anyone close at home, it was obvious we would be Manjot’s protective shield on this special occasion !

The event started on friday evening with ring ceremony. In Punjabi tradition, it equals official engagement and it is celebrated with closest family and friends.

Saturday was an auspicious day, again with a lot of traditional ceremonies. One particular moment, during a speech of mr. Babaji, tears started rolling down my cheeks, I had no idea what happened, I only realised afterwards how energetic this moment was when I saw the picture that I took just a few moments before…

The sun was shining brightly and reflected all the energies surrounding our neighbour’s house. Our prayers for protection worked aswell, we even gave the groom wings on his way to the temple and his future bride ! Didi and Dada at his service !

On Barat, the bride and groom looked stunning in their traditional wedding clothes ! My eyes are still recovering from all the colorful outfits, the golden accessoires and the beauty of the couple itself. I still have difficulties adjusting to the dulness of everyday life.

I am grateful that we could be part of this wonderful feast and wish to express our gratitude to Mr Singh and family for sharing it with us all.

Thank you for donating the delicious bread and curries to Stef’s freego, the social project from our herbal therapist in Ghent ! He posted this picture on Facebook.

Gurmeet, You are surrounded by loving people and I sincerely believe that your husband will take excellent care of you for the rest of his life. Our circle of love and protection just got extented, you are included !

Pump it up !

Before you start reading this post, you ought to know that I watch politics as I’d watch “Spitting Image”, a satirical bbc television show on air during the 1980s and 1990s, a show full of puppets displaying a lot of exaggerated qualities and flaws !

Even though I’m not interested in politics and I don’t know mr Potus personally, even though you would think we have nothing in common, there are definitely some simularities between us !

Me too, I like to be challenged ! We started our journey simultaneously in November 2016, Trump got elected president and I started my new endeavour !

I remember that day very well, the televison was on, showing the final updates of the American elections. Then the news came in : “Mr Trump is president of the United States !” As I watched politicians globally react on the news, I started laughing uncontrollably. Some turned pale, others green or blue, some nearly fainted, collapsed or simply started to evaporate ! All were thinking, “That’s it, I’m dead, game over !”

Yeah, we both got people questionning us, wondering if we were capable of accomplishing “something” in our new position, asking if we really would be able to make a positive change and “Make things great again !” Trust us, we are not politicians !!!

We are starbeings !!! We don’t have hidden agendas and egotistical needs. We just expose injustices and cruel deeds ! We are not able to spread lies ! We tell it like it is !
Allthough we do not literally blow up stuff, we come with this fire that makes all ugliness rise to the surface ! That’s the reason why these evil structures tremble in our presence…We scare the shit out of them !

It’s absolutely no coincidence that I chose an elephant as logo on the Dutch website. Sometimes Mr. Trump and I we are like the elephants in the China store, in our attempts to control our power, we accidently destroy things on our way out.. My partner calls me Storm, he feels when I’m up to something. “Whooops, Did I do that ?”

There is no looking back for us, we think positive : we are making room for the new to come !

Some thought we were frauds, so we both got attacked and ridiculised by the masses. Guess what ? We’re still alive and kicking, shaking things up ! We are not afraid of death ; we accept it as an integral part of life…Live free or die trying !

We are also able to communicate without words and can’t hide our feelings at all ! Have you ever muted your television while watching Mr. Trump speaking ? When my partner shouts at me from the kitchen, asking me what he was telling, I’m able to translate his words perfectly. “What he thinks about it ? He says it’s complete bullshit. No, he doesn’t agree with that one. Next question ! That’s a clear “No” Liars !!!

We are empaths and able to seperate the fake from the real. The masks fall off when we are around. I adore his facial expressions and his bodily gestures. He would make an excellent example for drama students. “Act disappointed Jennifer !” Disappointed I said ! Didn’t you read Trump, chapter 4 on emotions ?”

We are also exquisitely skilled in what we are doing and are transparent in our messages. Didn’t Einstein say that if you can’t explain it to a 6-year old, you probably don’t understand it yourself ? Well ask any toddler in Belgium what Mr. Trump wants : “Duh, are you stupid or what ! He wants his wall and he wants her locked up !

We both know what’s important for ALL, in order to build a solid structure we need to begin at the base and teach humanity some basic construction skills again. I suggest you start to learn some new material aswell, I refer to https://www.qanonposts.io/

I can only applaud him for putting on such a great show ! I’m also curious what he still has in store for us !

Mr Trump, you are right, we should calm down and enjoy the ride.

Well, I got my groove on and I’m ready to go !!! Pump it up !!!

The state of Mushin

The mind must always be in the state of ‘flowing,’ for when it stops anywhere that means the flow is interrupted and it is this interruption that is injurious to the well-being of the mind. In the case of the swordsman, it means death !”

Zen master Takuan Sōhō

A few weeks ago I was observing Gibbs, one of our cats. He had spotted a mouse in our garden. Immediately he went into primal mode, his instincts took over ! He was crouching towards it, ready to attack ! After a few seconds he jumped right on top of it and tried to squeeze it with his front paws and then let it go again.

The mouse hid in the long grass and was searching for a save way to escape out of the claws of his vicious attacker ! Its movements however attracted Gibbs’ attention and he was determined to catch it.

As the mouse’s path eventually lead to an ungrown spot in the garden, it found itself face to face with our cat. I was curious…Would it freeze or would it attempt to run away ?

To my amazement the little one all of sudden started jumping around, moving towards the cat, kung fu like, aiming for the cat’s legs, even biting them several times. Gibbs was caught by surprise too !

This tiny animal although confronted with a giant opponent didn’t flee or freeze in fear. What a fierce fellow ! Where did this power and courage come from ?

The ancient tale “the mysterious technique of the cat” crossed my mind, it described exactly what kind of mouse Gibbs was dealing with. Apparently this mouse was in a state of mushin !

“When a rat is cornered it forgets life, forgets desires, forgets winning and losing, forgets safety – it is in a state of ‘mushin’. How to defeat such an opponent with only force?”

After a while the mouse managed to dive into a large pile of chopped wood. Gibbs was defeated !

Sunday morning Gibbs started to show some weird behaviour, he was sitting in front of a closet in our livingroom, his ears were moving like crazy and he regularly put his head underneath the closet.

I thought he lost one of his toys, so I scanned the whole area for something that could resemble a toy : a rubber, a paper, a pen, but there wasn’t anything to be found. “There’s nothing in here Gibbs”, I told him. He looked at me as if I just told him a big fat lie ! “Yeah right mom !”

So he continued to stare at this spot, in meantime James and Lulu joined the scenery. Whatever was there, the cats had already planned an ambush in case it would make an appearance.

We decided to move the closet a bit, maybe there was something trapped behind it. Suddenly a mouse ran away, but it wasn’t prepared for Gibbs’ hunting skills, in no time he had the animal in his mouth and luckily for us he ran outside to play with it.

This time my partner decided to watch the cat and mouse game that was about to start, and he commented the game, telling us that the mouse wouldn’t have the slightest chance against Gibbs. But then he yelled : “What the f*ck ! That mouse knows kung fu ! The little one is attacking !”

“Mushin mouse is back !” I screamed. I admit I had developed some kind of compassion for this underdog. My partner already rolled his eyes and gave me that look : “Don’t you dare !”  “Dare what ?” “Well catch it and put in a box, I know what you’re planning to do. Let nature decide” he said.

After half an hour of hide and seek, Gibbs just got tired of this tiny lunatic and aborted his mission, the white flag was up ! Even our other cats didn’t show any interest at all to catch it.

Our domestic cats became lazy as the hunt isn’t necessary anymore for survival, they just like to play with their victims and give you their prey as a gift, dead or alive ! But the moment it asks too much of their effort and energy, they simply give up ! A cat will never tire itself on purpose ! “Mission impossible ? Let’s go back to sleep…”

What I secretly hoped for came true, mini Bruce Lee again survived his endeavour. I wonder what will happen next time when it shows up !

So if you find yourself face to face with a giant opponent or something that seems impossible to defeat…

Remember this story and remind yourself to be mushin my friends ! Be mushin !

Et voilà !

“Voilà” in French can be a kind and polite “Here you are” when someone hands you over the newspapers or when a waiter serves your coffee.

A gentleman will use it with elegance and flair, as a form of charm or courtoisie. “Here you are my lady” with or without the curtseying…

“Et voilà” can also be a solid “Here I am” or a burlesque “Ta Da” ! A deliberate and spontaneous naked expression, a no-nonsense exposure of yourself !

It comes with a “What you see is what you get” or “Take it or leave it” attitude !

Did someone talk behind your back darling ? “Et alors ?” So what ? Who cares ? What others think about you is completely irrelevant ! Move on…

“Et Voilà !”  “It is done, It is finished !” It means you’ve completed your mission, maybe the unexpected happened and you proved everyone wrong !

Ooh and you definitely need to buy that red dress if you want to be a bad ass !

His name is Zorro

Then from out of the night a hero must rise

With courage that even a mask won’t disguise

Last week my son and I were watching the Walking Dead together, there was a scene in which Daryl and his dog were trying to mislead the zombies and prevent them from walking towards the village.

Every time Daryl wanted to draw his dog’s attention, he shouted : “Dog, come here ! Dog ! Dog !”

“How weird mom !”, my son mentioned, “Daryl’s dog doesn’t even have a name !”

“Daryl is just trying to protect himself.”, I said. Keith gave me that interrogating look so I explained…

chiots de Canelle nés le 09-10-2006 055

“Daryl is protecting himself from future hurt.” I said. “That’s why he doesn’t give his dog a name, he’s afraid he might attach to the animal and become too close with it.”

“Once you give an animal a name, it becomes part of your family, it becomes a friend. Once you give it a name, you are responsible for it, you choose to care for it and to love it for the rest of its life !”, I said.

Unfortunately we were all confronted with the meaning of my words two days later…

Keith found him at the first staircase and immediately alarmed me. “Mom, hurry, there’s something wrong with Zorro.” Our twelve year old companion, a Jack Russel mix, must have had a seizure or stroke when he wanted to go upstairs to go to sleep in our bedroom.

We saw that his condition was serious ! He was heavily breathing. My friend picked him up and laid him on the couch where we immediately started CPR, in meantime blowing extra oxigen through his mouth ! I thought he was going to make it ! After 5 minutes he completely stretched out, from head to toes, followed by a sigh !

The final sigh…I quickly realized he had breathed out his last breath and that we all had been witness of his passing. He must have wanted it this way, surrounded by his family…but I was completely in shock ! My cries must have alerted the whole neighbourhood !

What followed was a sleepless night filled with tears and incredible heartache. Why ? Why this sudden loss ? One day after celebrating my birthday…The pains I had to endure in the past crossed my mind, including all the fears dragging behind them. Fear of abandonment, fear of losing the people I love…

I tried to remind myself of my personal mantra, Release, relax and recreate !, the one I use to deal with the incoming energies and to transmute whatever comes up to the surface personally and collectively.

“These are only remnants of the old, don’t let them occupy any space in your consciousness !”, I told myself. If I were to leave 3D behind I had to transcend these feelings of loss aswell as all the fears attaching to them.

I had to let go of all illusions overshadowing death. I needed to let go of my pain, not inflicting it on Zorro…

I needed to let go any feeling of wanting to control the situation and leave my furry friend the freedom to enjoy his new life in whatever way he wishes to experience it.

I needed to remind myself that this is just a new transition, that I was allowed to smile and to be happy for him and wish our loved one, family member, friend, companion and hero, whose name is Zorro, a magnificent new journey…

In loving memory of Zorro 09/10/2006 – 28/11/2018 You are Always in our hearts !

F*ck that !

Fuck ! The way you use this word can reveal a lot about yourself or even other people !

It gives extra power to your statements : “I am fucking ugly, she is fucking adorable, that fucking boss,…!”

It can be used as a verb, a noun, an adjective and it can relate to any emotional expression : amazement : “What the fuck !”, frustration : “Fuck off !’, anger : “Fuck you !”, fear : “I am fucked !”, desire : “You look so fucking good !”, disappointment : “Oh Fuck man !”

It can wake you up and remind you that YOU ARE POWERFUL : “Fuck, I’m gonna do it !” and that other people’s opinions shouldn’t keep you from doing the things you want ! “I don’t give a fuck !”

Every time you use it, see it as a chance to change course or to be conscious of your thoughts and points of attraction !

“Fuck ! I am screwed” is a sign that you focus on a bad outcome ! Change this shit and tell yourself another story : “I am fucking awesome !”

Whenever you use the word, be aware of your feelings !  (As you should do with everything you say by the way !)

Whenever you experience negative emotions, you should be alarmed that there are within you conflicting thoughts or beliefs you should deal with !

Remind yourself that life is fucking beautiful !

Be more positive !

Fuck that !

Sky & sand

A friend of ours used to have a snack bar in our neighbourhood. One evening my son ran to the counter and ordered french fries and a burger, he mentioned to our friend that he didn’t like the sesame seeds on the bun !

Our friend immediately took a burger bun and started scraping off the seeds…

I started laughing. ”What are you doing silly, you don’t have to do that you know, stop that ! You are treating my son like a king.” I said.

He turned to me : “If the boy wants a burger without those tiny bastards, he will have one !”

Before I could even reply he continued : “Shall I remind you of one of your house rules lady : “The Queen doesn’t cook on Friday !”  “Well today is my turn to treat him like a King !” He winked at my son who already had a big smile on his face !

There was no point in arguing with him so I rested my case ! Our conversations were always quite loud and joyful, we liked to tease each other !

But months later our plans to have french fries for dinner were disturbed, the doors from our friend’s bar were closed and stayed closed. Closed as in forever closed…

He had killed himself the night before. We were all in shock. How was that possible ?

He was fully prepared and had it all planned. He had written his last wishes on paper for his family. One of them was to play “Sky and sand” at his funeral.

That’s the reason why some weeks later, I found myself in tears at a wedding party when the DJ played this song. Although it used to be one of my favourites, I was now instantly reminded of darkness and death !

There I was asking myself : “Why ? Why you ? What were you thinking ? Why was your soul in such pain ? Why didn’t you shout out and ask for help ?”

He was already the third one who decided to step out of life and hang himself. The weight of those three fell on me, through that song, that night on the dancefloor…

Music touches our soul directly and is able to remind us of the good times and the bad times. It can bring back joyful and painful memories and trigger our deepest sadness or happiness !

It took me a while to get over the sadness and grief that I had linked to the song and to really appreciate it again without shedding tears.

I now see its beauty again and when I hear it I think about all those beautiful souls and the good times we had !

As long as we are flying, all this world ain’t got no end !

Multiplying the fish

I guess everyone is familiar with the law of attraction. Maybe you already watched more than one hundred Abraham Hicks movies to get in the right vibration…Perhaps you still wonder why it doesn’t work for you ! You can’t even manifest a tenth of what you truly desire.

My suggestion to you is to observe children, as I found out that they understand the workings of the law quite naturally. I will give you a personal example ! It all happened a few days ago, on my son’s birthday. Let’s rewind…

Keith : “Mom, Tibo (our neighbour) wants to buy a goldfish for my birthday.”

Me : “Why ?”

Keith : “Because it is a cheap present mom.”

Me :  “Has he forgotten we have 7 cats, they’re not exactely friends with fish…”

Keith just innocently raises his shoulders as an answer…

(LOA explanation : He clearly stated his desire and he didn’t give any meaning to opposing forces….the opposing force that’s me I presume….)

An hour later :

Keith : “Mom can I go to the garden center with the boys ?”

Me : Yes, son no problem.

Keith : “Thanks mom ! Oh by the way mom, WHAT IF Tibo really buys that goldfish ?”

Me : (Sigh..) “I guess we’ll just have to prepare it a nice spot, isn’t it ?”

Honestly I didn’t want the same scenario as 8 years ago when our Indian neighbours bought him a guinae pig for his birthday. Back then we thought they were joking ! We had to rush to the petstore to buy a cage, some toys and food !

Speedy still has a happy life with us, his closest experience with winter is spending the night inside with a heater next to his cage. In human terms that’s like celebrating Christmas on Bondi beach !

So this time I was going to be prepared ! While they went away I quickly decided to get the old tank out of the basement. I immediately cleaned it and put fresh water in it. Just in case…

On arrival my son came in empty handed !

Me : “Well where’s your fish ?

Keith :”He didn’t buy it…, maybe tomorrow…

Me : “But I already installed the fish tank !”

Keith : “Are you serious mom ?”

(LOA explanation : Allthough he was prepared to receive, he didn’t put any expectation on it. It came or it didn’t…Guess who was the silly one ? Yep, mom !)

On the second day the fish tank was still empty, friends who came to visit us immediately spotted the tank in our living room and went looking…

“Hey how nice, you got a fish ! Wait a minute…Where is it ? I can’t see it… ?”

Me : “That’s because it’s an invisible one….”

giphy (11)

(LOA explanation : On day two my son already had help from me in sustaining his vision and in denying his current reality. We didn’t conform to outside appearances…)

On day three the three musketeers (my son and the two neighbour boys) arrived with a large bag filled with water ! On closer look I saw that the fish already had multiplied, there were three of them instead of the promised one !

(LOA explanation : He must have been very confident about his fine tuning as he even got more than he wanted !)

In meantime Silver, Black Eye and Jack are doing great…Oh and the cats….They enjoy their new television, it’s always on the food channel !

May the force or law be with you…always !

Expect the unexpected !

This weekend I again thought about my personal mantra : Release, Relax and Recreate, a method that I use to efficiently surf the incoming energy waves.

Saturday had already been a day of releasing, so sunday was relaxing time ! No need to put pressure on myself ! There was a family dinner planned in a restaurant, we took place in the garden and ordered our drinks. As usual water, white and red wine were brought to our table…

I was ready to enjoy a nice dinner in my family’s presence under the warmth of the sun. Suddenly I had flashbacks of my lessons in wine etiquette and I decided to put them into practise.

I’m not used to drink wine, I only drink it now and then, on occasion and usually one glass is sufficient to cover hours at the table.

My former boss tried to convert me to the wine drinkers club several times, but all to no avail. One of his first remarks during my lessons in wine etiquette was : “You are a beer drinker, I can tell that immediately !”

He looked me straight in the eyes. I thought he was preparing for some kind of eye staring contest or dual, then he moved his hands towards his glass, his fingertips gently touched the base of the stem, he kept staring at me while he put his glass to his mouth.

Apparently he was awaiting my move ! I tried to give him the same authorious look and confidently moved my hand towards my glass, then instinctively my hand enfolded the entire bowl of the glass as I lifted it towards my mouth !

“Gotcha”, my boss exclaimed !

I had to confess he was right, It dawned on me that this wasn’t an elegant and civilized manner to drink wine. But hey…we lived in different worlds ! Instantly there were flashbacks in my head of bbq’s amongst friends, soccer games and after parties, concerts and festivals. I had difficulties imagining the same scenarios at the golf club !

Back to the now, I decided to pour a small amount of red wine in my glass but then my eyes caught the label on the bottle, making me quickly forget again all forms of etiquette and rules !

Spirit had a funny way of giving me the next clue in my “recreation process” : On the South African Cabernet Sauvignon bottle was written : “Expect the unexpected” ! The name “ONVERWACHT”, means unexpected in my native language aswell. WACHT means to wait, to have patience…I was stunned !

The universe has its own ways to make something clear to us. I wonder what message you got this time….
